30 hours and counting down!!

I am fasting 48 hours before I become a vegetarian and it's already been 18 :).. so with my math skills I have about 30 more hours to go. Kp said he was going to do with vegetarian thing with me but last night he already had seafood hahahaha The point of the fast is to clean my body of waste  And my choice to become vegetarian so we can start eating right. :dthumb: Then he says seafood isnt cheating.. it counts as food we can eat  He is sooo cute. You cant just add food to a diet and still call it that kinda diet. :bonk: I am pretty cool now.. not hungry or anything but last night for dinner.. I had water... water... oh and vitamins... and water. Those were the most worst feelings. I went to the grocery store at 10pm thinking maybe if I just ate a tad bit of fruit... LOL I bought some watermelon... but when I got home I was too tired to eat. wish me luck :dthumb:

partial religious, that I havent been practicing but now want to. Partial health problems. I have a minor heart condition and having been taking care of myself. I've been eating lots of junk food and not caring.. well why should I if I dont gain any weight by eating a whole pizza. I recently was in a car accident, someone hit me from behind and i didnt have my deat belt on. I went to my doctor and he said I need to change my eating habits.

Good luck with it, Roz... I am curious though as to what brought this on... is this a temporary/dieting thing, or are you going veggie for good? Are you going total veg, vegan, ovo-lacto, or what? :luck:

:luck: I have a lot of respect for people that can become total vegetarians. I could never give up meat, so congrats for having more willpower than I. My wife would like us to become vegetarians but I just had to draw the line and say no. Again :luck:

:luck: i admire you being able to do that!! i like food way too much to be able to not eat for awhile...unless i am really stressed, then i kinda forget...and cool on the vegan thing...i would love to do that but I am a red meat kinda person, not often but I have to have my prime rib fix pretty regularly!!

If you want to eat things that are better for your body eat things that are better for your body. Meat isn't bad for your body. There are many things that you can eat as a veggy person that still aren't good for you. But whatever go on with your bad self

Kudos to you for doing what is best for your own health. :dthumb: Personally not an option for me, mmm...steak... oh, sorry, grew up on a farm and my dad would disown me if I gave up meat. Plus I would probably go ballistic on someone at some point. Don't know if an insanity plea would hold up in court for something like that. :luck: with your quest!

it's easy to give up meat. but it's very hard to give up meat by-products (dairy foods). Gota have milk and butter. When i worked my way through college, meat wasn't in my grocery list. I survived on cheerios, ramen noodles, mac n cheez, and pb&j sandwiches. I would splurge once in a while with good ole spam. -a|ex

Necessary diet restriction reasons are the only acceptable reason I accept for becoming a veghead. Good luck with it. Otherwise eat meat, it's good.
