Don't know what bike I'll buy first. Brand, style, size, whatever. Should I go for something old and used or just get a quaility new bike. Glad to be here. Hope to learn alot.:dthumb:

:welcome: :twfrox: used is always good to start out with. Have you taken the MSF course? Take that and depending on how you do in the class will effect what I suggest.

:welcome: to TWF Take the MSF (http://www.msf-usa.org/) first to make sure ridding is for you. Even if you have been ridding dirt for years. Click here to find a class near you. (http://www.msf-usa.org/) After that, buy a 1995 or newer but still used bike of your choice under 600 cc's. Get what feels good to sit on and meets your approval on appearance. Make and model are not important for they are all so close in performance.

:welcome: I've only been a member a short time here but I can assure you that this is an excellent place. Too many new riders get flamed on other forums for their bike choices. The flamers may be well intentioned, but have no diplomacy. The members here are great and give competent advice. Good luck on your bike choice and remember that this is a very "comfortable" place to ask newbie questions, so ask away and I'm sure you will get great input:cheers: :dthumb:
