It could be as new as an 04. I'm guessing its a Euro model with the 16.5 wheels too. There for I'm not sure when they discontinued the 998 over there.

I'm looking at an '03 right now. it's yellow and still looks the same. it's a euro model too. Checking '04 right now... Could be an '04 euro model too. So Jeeps was right. The US models from '03 higher don't look like that one though.

They covered a Monster show or event where people judge the Monsters entered in the contest and the winner gets a brand new Monster. There were some pretty nice monsters in the comp and the '06 was beautiful. I believe it was on "Superbikes".
