Going on a Poker run today!Earlzach 07-29-2006, 05:55 AM Here in my town the Fire Depo is hosting a poker run. It ends up with a free lunch buffet at a pretty nice bar and grill. You start at point A. pick a card out of a box. Ride to other locations picking one card at each stop. At the end, Everybody compares their hand and the winner usually get a cool prize. The fanally had bbq, live band, and aseveral venders at the last stop. TATER 07-29-2006, 03:00 PM I am a little more cautious on poker runs cause' a lot of harley riders and around here the checkpoints that you stop at are usually bars and i've seen one guy at 3 diferent bars and he was pounding 3 beers and 3 shots at each stop... not a big fan of drinking and riding... I never enter in the poker runs because it's among the slower riders, and they don't ride like I do...so I tend to stay away.
