A lot of confusion seems to come from our gallery software. As many know, it's not the easiest to work with, so we've created a "how-to" upload photos guide. The most important thing you do when you upload a photo to the TWF galleries is select the proper category.
Each photo should be categorized so the galleries are not just one big gallery with all sorts of random images. This way, if you are looking for a photo, it will be easier to find. Just like a library categorizes their books, we categorize our images. It's much easier to find a photo in a photo album than in a shoebox!
Categorizing your uploaded images is not an exact science. Most images could be appropriately selected in several categories. Just choose the category that best reflects the image you're uploading.
For instance:

This image is clearly not sportbike related. Therefore placing it in any category other than "Unclassified Non-Sportbike Related Photos" would not be appropriate. If you were looking at the "Honda" photo gallery, you would not expect to see a photo of a helicopter!
Second example:

This image is sportbike related and could fit into several categories. Since it's a Suzuki, it makes sense to select the "Suzuki" category. However, since it appears it was taken at a motorcycle show, another appropriate category might be, "Misc Motorcycle Shows."
So now that you know the importance to categorize your images, how do you do it?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
STEP ONE
Access the Photo Gallery (You must be logged in): HERE (http://www.twowheelforum.com/photopost/)
Or, go directly to the photo upload page: HERE (http://www.twowheelforum.com/photopost/uploadphoto.php).
STEP TWO
In the upper right corner of the gallery (after you've logged in) you should see this:

Click on "Upload Photos" to access the next screen.
STEP THREE
You are now presented with a new screen where you can 1) select your image category, and 2) browse to the location of your image(s) on your computer to upload.

The gallery defaults to the category shown above, "** Click here to choose a category or your photos will be DELETED!" This is the default category and you should NOT leave it set to this. The purpose of doing this is to draw attention to this area and force you to select the proper category. Otherwise, the gallery is unorganized!
STEP FOUR
All you have to do is click the down arrow:

The above image shows you what happens when you click the down arrow. All of the available photo categories now appear! Scroll down and select the one that best fits the image(s) you're uploading. If you have several different categories, you may have to repeat the process with each "batch".
That's it!
