While you're at it, look to see if there is a dragon. My daughter wants a helmet with a dragon! I mean since you don't have anything else to do but serve the wishes of the site!!!

Sorry missy, I must disagree. Those things are fugly! And probably would be a waste of money. :puke: OK Gas Man I agree on part of that. I woundn't say that they are fugly. However, I wouldn't want one to wear on a daily or few times a week either. For the work that was put in to them to have a lid like this is something pretty hard. Great job on them. But since there is this much time and effort and MONEY put into them it would suck all kinds of donkey arse if you scrached it or did something else to the paint. Let someone else wear it and try to look cool. Not me and I know Matt wouldn't either. He needs that pipe first. hint hint santa. :D

Besides the 1000cc shoot-out on TDC this weekend, they also showed how easy it is to paint your own helmet. They used Dupli-color Mirage, a color shifting paint. They lightly sanded the helmet, then cleaned it, then taped it off. The paint was a three-part process and looked very nice afterward. Cost about $20. Here is the paint site: http://www.dupli-color.com/products/mirage.html Click on the helmet, under the paint cans.

The last one looks like Eddie from Iron Maiden - that one is my fav.. I really wouldn't spend the $ though because I replace my lid every couple of years. Maybe I would buy one for once in awhile rides but not an everyday lid.. I would rather spend my money on mods or gear.

The first thing you do to a bike is to take off that "cannon" they call a stock pipe and get a aftermarket pipe. It sounds a hell of a lot nicer. :D

I know this post is kinda old, just wanted to show off one of my Christmas presents that looks pretty bad ass! I can't get the images to upload here so click on the links instead: http://ftgraphics.com/images/helmet_1.JPG http://ftgraphics.com/images/helmet_2.JPG The Pics really don't show the real detail that went into this, you have to see it in person to appreciate the work that was done. The only crappy thing was that the person originally painted the face shield all solid except for the eyes. You could harldy see, no pereforial vision and it was like having horse blinders on. So I had to take some of my perforated vinyl and a new chrome visor and re-paint the face mask. Now I can see out of the whole thing. I don't think I did too bad of a job of the visor if I may say so myself! Just my :2cents: It was a biatch to duplicate the original and took me like 5 hours to do from scratch.
