Cement + 955i = no good

Today I was standing out on my balcony and my neighbor pulls up on a new Daytona 955i. I turned to go inside and as I reach the door I hear a crash and some cursing. Curious, I go back to the edge of the balcony and look over. HE DROPPED IT ON THE CURB! I went down later to take a look at it and discovered put a nice chip in the front fairing and dented his exhaust along with a few scrapes here and there. The bike is brand new with like 600 miles on it. Pains me to think about it.

damn that really blows! was the ashphalt really hot and did it sink immediately? or was just just one of those i hate myself for making that stupid of a mistake things?

I hate when that $h!t happens. I've had it happen where I got off the bike, walked away from it, then here a loud crash....turn around and my bike is laying on its side. :cursin:

From what I can tell by the scrapes on the pavement it looks like he had the kickstand halfway on the curb/street and wasnt a secure spot.

Bummer. Did the guy look like a newb? I'd be cursing too...even if there was a school bus full of impressionable little kids watching me.
