:dthumb: I am new here and have a question or two. I am 16... Yes, young. And plan on going for my learner's very soon. I don't need any help as far as choosing a bike yet, but I may soon. Okay, I live in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan... And what is concerning me is INSURANCE and REGISTRATION! So after I purchase a bike, what do I do to register it? How much will this cost, what will I need, etc.? I'm sure my parents will know, but I thought I'd ask here anyway. Now, insurance? What do I do here? lol :here: :readng: I went to a insurance site and when I went to get a quote, it stated something about Government Agencies insurance, etc.???? WTF? I just don't really want to ask the 'rents yet. It's hard to explain why, but yeah. I'd appreciate any help. -->Troy

:welcome: This is the slow time for the forum, but I'm sure someone will log in later tonight to point you in the right direction. I'm from the US and I don't know how much differently things operate up North :sorry:

:welcome: Did you do a search on the internet or try ask.com? You may find some of the info. you are looking for there. Tpe your question and see what the search brings up. I'm sure you could find something on there about registering your bike anyway. :luck: :twfrox:

We do have a guy out of Ontario that's on occasionally, but I haven't seen him lately. I wouldn't be hard to check the internet for data, just make sure you use Saskatchewan as one of the search terms.

Oh, it's hard, believe me! :readng:  But I DID, however, finally find most/some of the info. I needed on the SGI website! :yikes: It was like they hid the stuff I needed to read. So typically, when will the riding season begin and end? Like middle or so of March and end of September? I think it is going to cost somewhere around 4 or 500 dollars per season for me... That's for March 10th to Sept. 30th (Which was just a rough estimate from my head mind you.)

I don't know your season. Down here in Michigan we still get snow through th end of March, so I'd call it April 1, through Oct 30... Sometimes we have snow around Halloween, but most years, you want the bike in October for color tours. You're north of me, but get more of the pacific current's weather, I don't know for you.

Yeah, that's true, we got dumped on in March last winter... I forgot about that... So, yeah, April 1st or so until Oct. 30 or something.
