So, I ordered my Engine Ice and new oil filter today... I figure two more weeks... maybe right after the holiday weekend I'll need to do the oil change / service... I'll change out the coolant at the same time so that will be good for the track next spring.... Only thing I'm missing is a torq wrench... Gotta find one of those to borrow... I'll probably need to adjust the rear tire for chain tension by then.... and that requires re-torqing the rear axle bolt.

its not just getting out early man, its way more freedom. its like at this point they assume you actually want to learn, so they dont care if you come to lecture or not, its on you. its not hard, especially the first year. you'll be fine.
