Well it started so long ago... (http://www.twowheelforum.com/showthread.php?t=3417) It progressed to 2 threads shortly after that... (http://www.twowheelforum.com/showthread.php?t=1814) but it didn't feel right... So we closed them up and made the "Posting Bar (http://www.twowheelforum.com/showthread.php?t=6017)" Over time, many tried to create similar threads..but they always fall to the "one" :whore: thread. After so many posts the threads become a bear to find things, hard on slower PC's, and need to be re-started. This one will be closed when it surpasses my post count and then re-born again! But only a :whore: Master can be burdened with such tasks... so I take it upon myself. I must show the way to all my :whore: students. So here's the "Posting Hole". ( Now realize the SV has a pretty tall tank - it's a V-twin with a 4.5 gallon tank mounted on top) 0-25 mph - sitting completely verticle (due to my short arms - really LOVING the tank) 25-45 mph - shifted back and down a little, resting the girls right on top of the tank... over 50 mph - when the wind starts to buffet you, drop back another few inches and press the girls headlights first into the tank and lower the rest of the upper body on top of the tank behind the windscreen. So, at about what speeds do you shift your position around?

Booby vibrations aint nahtin.... That low speed position, keep the RPMS low... so the bike shakes and grumbles a little... you're really loving the tank baby... But from 4000-6000 RPMS.. it really sounds like I'm riding a damn sewing machine down the road. I've heard people refer to the SV with a stock exhaust as such... man is it true! :nonod:

Right next to it was an '06 FZ1. Now thats my kind of bike. Although the cheesy windscreen would be the first thing to go.

It may be pointy, but it flows with the bike. And the new FZ1's are strong! I heard that the new FZ1 were a little jerky and hard to control with the stock fuel map. I think there are some modded fuel maps out that have fixed the problem and made the throttle much smoother.

Those FZ's some pretty nice bikes. My dad is thinking of getting an FZ6 but I dont know if he will or not. In a year or 2 when I get more miles on the Kawi, I would like to get an FZ1. I couldnt justify getting a litre bike as my first street bike.
