Most states, 20 over is a reckless ticket. The landing in jail depends mostly on the cop. Ive seen guys get busted for doing over 100 and get to ride home while another guy that got busted for doing 95 in a 65 on the highway went to jail.

In PA generally I've heard 30 over lands you in the cell. But depends on the cop I guess.

I got tagged for 82 in a 50 cop gave me a $285 ticket and I rolled on. If the cop was a prick I would probably went to jail. The cop happened to like bikes, kinda hard to be cool and:wbs: with someone when they are handing you a fat ticket. But it could've been worse.
its been my experience that it really does depend on the cop, if hes having an okay day, you get a ticket, if hes already pissed about something, you are going in!!

Depends on the cop. I got pulled over me and buddy, for racing kind of. The dude clocked us at 87 and 85, in a 55mph zone. Just be friendly and nice to the cop works best in my opinion. First words out of his mouth was "you know I can take you to jail right". 21 over in Kentucky is what gets your license pulled and a trip to jail. However the cop was friendly, along with with me and my buddy. So he let us go after telling us that a motorcyclists had died on that road not too long ago. It's my hometown, I would know, noone has died on that on a motorcycle. Do cops tell you guys and gals that? Just to scare us I guess.
