The best ways to flood/sink a PWC!

1) Flip it over in the correct direction to avoid water entering the engine through the exhaust. There is a warning sticker on the back indicating correct direction. 2) Before allowing your passenger to get back on, be sure to ride it alone long enough to allow the bilge pump a chance to clear the water it took on when you capsized it. 3) If the PWC seems unbalanced, slightly heavy in the rear, difficult to stay on, don't keep trying to have your passenger mount the damn thing without ensuring the engine compartment isn't full of water. 4) Most importantly, don't ignore your father who is screaming instructions for #1, 2, & 3 at the top of his lungs from the shoreline. Failure to follow these simple guidelines may result in said PWC being towed back to shore and your day on the water cut short. http://i3.tinypic.com/244s96s.jpg

Easy fix. Drain water, pull plugs, crank motor to pomp out water. replace plugs and your off to finish the day.

I have flipped a PWC many times, never flooded out the engine comartment though. I have even completly submerged it under water after jumping off a wake. Still no flooding!

I use to submerge a buddies all the time by throwing it into reverse at speed and then back into forward. It would duck under the water and jump out of the water with no wake. 5) don't run into other boats I had a freakin kid run into a buddies jet boat while we were out on the lake. About sank the boat and the jetski to the bottom. Luckily we had another boat close that saw the accident to tow both to shore with the jetski still stuck nose first inside the jet boat.

Try cart wheeling one end over end at about 50mph thus ripping the hood off. That will sink one pretty quick.

:dthumb: the only time i rode one, i did the cartwheel, end over end, not so graceful belly smack into the side of a nice wake :doh: did not feel to good

Best ways to flood it? Jump rolling waves, like the ones created by a huge boat (ie. barge)... instead of going against the direction they are rolling, go with them... Very easy to nose dive into them and WHOOOOSH! From idle, lean hard towards the front, pull low on the throttle, turn hard to one side... slow circles... the front end bites, spin around onto the front (very quickly), mash on the throttle... front end totally sinks and you're shootin' a 30-50ft spray... And if you're real good... stand up, lean back (feet as far back as possible)... enough throttle to get on plane... start bouncing the front end, but not enough to get the grate out of the water (so you still have power)... Then give one HARD bounce up, bias as much of your weight forward as possible (lean forward, pick up your knees. but keep your feet near the back) and hold your breath... You should submarine... This is VERY difficult to pull off on a sit-down PWC, but it is possible on many (your WaveRaider is not one of them)... I even tried twisting the grips towards the front to get a little more leverage... They don't actually move (or at least shouldn't), but it will give you some extra oomph... *sniffle* I miss my ol' Sea Doo... it's been way too long *sniffle*
