Yeah at first i seriously thought it was a joke for about a month.

I think it started out as a joke, but all the internet attention it got i guess made them want to release it.. The skits that make fun of it are hilarious.

my theory is that they are just releasing a REALLY ****ty movie, and advertising it with all this stuff, like that call emulator and everything, and it's a test to see if a movie can be so bad, with so much advertising if it will get a good turn out just because people are curious to see HOW BAD it really is.
