Super went from $3.18 to $3.12 here over the weekend... I didn't check to see if it had come down more as of this morning, but I was happy to see even a $0.06 decrease. :dthumb:

I watched it go from $2.89 on Friday to $2.73 this morning. :yikes: I'm skeptical... I have seen $0.20 ups and downs before... It goes down $0.16, then comes up $0.20... then goes up $0.05... then goes down $0.10.... then back up $0.07... Overall trend is up.... I saw something on 20/20 or one of those other tv news rags... A guy who has been forcasting gas prices for a good number of years and has been dead on accurate... He said by next summer gas prices will be over $4/gallon... Who knows... I am surely not going to bank on some predicition, but his record sounded pretty good... I am just not getting excited when I see an initial drop... in a month if the prices are still down, I will start getting excited...:nana:

well, soon it'll be time to heat your home, so it will be going down. but then your heating oil will be skyrocketing, so it doesn't really matter. they get you coming and going.

the price of fuel is pure and simple robbery. why not just stick a shotgun in my face and demand everything I've got instead?

I don't know about now but were getting ripped off.

It's $2.89 on base and that's the cheapest around. Military only get to enjoy the "cheap" prices.

Ok, so you pay more for gas... heck you more for everything in HI. Let's not lose sight of the fact it's HAWAII! It's not like you're sitting in Podunk, Iowa on some flat, dusty barren piece of land with no scenery.

gas company's will always use the raise it $0.10, wait a week lower it $0.04 and people will actually be happy you just snuck in a $0.06 increase.

I don't know about now but were getting ripped off. As I have alluded to in previous a previous thread... I concur... If we continue to pay out the arse and remain unwilling to really change our habits... What motivation would they have to lower prices? Because they are nice? Our demand sets the price... Capitalism at it's finest... Charge more, charge more, charge more until demand does not allow you to charge anything more... Then level off and get fat paid... I have said it before and I will say it again... It's OUR fault gas prices continue to climb...
