Referal cards

I used to help moderate a honda accord forum and I had come up with an idea to make business cards up with the site's web address on it. I would take them around whenever I was going to meets and car shows. I also run a garage and used to hand them out to car enthusiasts that would stop in for service.. The back of the card would say thank you for trying out www.**********.com you were referred to this site by _______________. and you enter your screen name in the blank... I know that a lot of people visit other forums too. :whistle: not me of course. I do visit a forum that is only for Massachusettes sportbikers. I was thinking that this would be a good way to get more members to check us out... we also had a way to track who referred the new member and these referals go towards rep points... any one have any feedback on this matter

I think its a decent idea. Shan's the man for this kind of stuff though. We could use one of those sites that gives free business cards if you pay for shipping...

we could just make a printable version of a business card, and have everyone print out their own and give them out as needed... I am lousy with creating things like this but i know "SIG MAN" can probably create a nice looking image for the card...

We actually did this some time ago. Two ex-mods passed out flyers for the site at shows. You're welcome to come up with something and hand it out! :cheers:

Thx Tater I was just going to post that. The first one is set to print and then you cut. If you have a card printing program. Then you can put it on a card and print the other info on the back side.

I know I have cards for TWF... they are really nice too! Double sided and all... but then again... I'm Gas Man and way cooler! :rofl:

so has anyone tried to come up with a new, more visually stimulating printable referral card forthe TWF... edit: i am computer handicap in visual editing and such

strong reps for he who makes a printable card that looks tit.

i think there are business card sites that will print whatever you want on them and give you like the first stack of 100 for free so long as you put thier website on the back of the card. Worth a try.
