I just am not a fan of a Hennessey TT viper. Nothing really to it except for a V-10 with twin turbo's, but nothing else. The viper has had realitively the same styling since it's release in 93 (i think). Thats why I like more of the european cars. I am pretty sure his has the Cleveland in it too... I have no idea about miles, but the colors are dark, sorta forrest green with gold trim... sry, WTF is AMMO? thanks. The Front license plate on the truck had a flaming piss pot on it http://i53.photobucket.com/albums/g60/justpucky/arm001.png. This is the logo of the Ordanance Corp ( a branch of the army). When they were talking about AMMO, they were litterally talking about ammo. Ammunition that kills people. anything from bullets for a 9mm, to bombs and rockets. They are all the responsibility of the ordinance corp. Through some goofy military thing, Mechanics are classified as ordinance personel... even though we have nothing to do with Ammnition, we're still part of the AMMO branch. Hence the three (two) stooges routine above.

thanks pucky now im slightly less confused. I'm just a "civvy". Yeah, I'm a mechanic in the national Guard, and while my dress greens require me to wear the flaming piss pot, my unit is engineers. When I claim affiliation, I'm an engineer.

hmm i wouldnt mind the military if all i had to do was fix up or test big toys like a tank or a jet...

justpucky
08-19-2006, 12:45 PM
Tanks suck as a mechanic. The engines don't have a lot of room. And it's alot worse to change a track than a tire... unless it's a Scraper tire... those really suck.

Crazy250
08-19-2006, 02:33 PM
do you get to drive em/ test em?

justpucky
08-19-2006, 02:40 PM
My unit doesn't have tanks, I've only worked on them at school. But as a mechanic, you have to test drive everything  after you work on it to make sure the fix holds, and what you fixed was really the problem.
