OK...post the tutorial...how to use the multi-quote button... That sure will be easier than typing in all those brackets slashes and quotes... You hit the button and it will stay lit up. Once you got all the ones you want, hit the post reply button. They should all be in there. Do what you want.

Alright what did you guys change in the last 45 minutes... Now the "New Post" option in the top menu bar is doing interesting things. I'm loosing threads I just replied to from my lists, and it's showing all threads, (says there are unread posts) when I just read them before 12 noon, and I'm listed as the last post in some of them. i hate software upgrades.

I see, it's just refreshing the list that much faster now... it used to leave threads on for a few hours after you read them. Now as soon as you click the button everything is refreshed... I did have to use the "Mark Forums as read" button though.

I did have to use the "Mark Forums as read" button though. We've switched to a database instead of cookie-based option for new posts. What you can do is open the NEW POSTS, then right click the new threads "Open in new window" if you don't want to lose the list of new threads.

No, it's after I read the new posts, I click the button to search for things posted while I was catching up, and now with the realtime DB, it automatically drops the read threads. With the cookie system it left the thread that had been read with no new posts on for an hour or so. I understand what you did. In accounting it's like comparing a batch processing system to a real time Job cost system. I just have to develop new habits. Run the main page like the boys do. I used to only run off of the new posts list.
