starting road racing

hey guys i wanna start doing some track days and start road acing in the near future, however i dont kno of any tracks in my area, i live on long island new york, if someone could point me in the right direction to find some good tracks and schools or tracks that offer lessons n such that would be great, i dont mind traveling so anythig in the northeast as far south as about maryland virginia. thx in advance guys :)
