Las Vegas 2 Reno by way of Cali

I'm planning a Coast to Coast trip for early summer of 2007. I need some help form anyone with knowledge of Nevada/California. Can someone help nail down some routes and points of interest along the way? Attached is my proposed route. Suggestions and corrections to my route is the main purpose of this thread. Well, I live in Vegas and the weather in mid june will be hot as hell. Good riding locations are: Lake Mead, Vallet of Fire, Red Rock Loop, Red Rock Summit Run and some other spots I don't want to mention in case the wrong people are reading this. Cops are cracking down as of late, but I think it will die down in time.
