I got to go to Hallett (http://www.hallettracing.com) again over Labor Day weekend for my second track day. This time they were running clockwise, so it was like a completely different track. On the downside, it was their big Motorcycle Appreciation Weekend (read: crowded), so I only got to run 4 good sessions. It started raining hard in the 5th one, so that kind of sucked. But, hey, any day at the track sure as Hell beats a day at work! I didn't know at the time, but a friend of a friend was running an onboard camera in my class and I got a copy of the DVD afterwards. I had some trouble capturing a clip from it so the video quality is not pretty, but for what it's worth here is me laying the smack down in The Carousel. :bslap:  I am piloting the black Firebolt that passes the camera bike on the outside just as the clip starts: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/th_Pass.jpg (http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/?action=view¤t=Pass.flv) And now some pics... The novice grid. Like lambs before the slaughter... http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/NoviceGrid.jpg Eh, you lookin' at me?!? http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/GridPose.jpg Helmet strap: check. Warning lights: negative. Damn, what am I forgetting... :bonk: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/Sidestand.jpg I like this shot: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/RightLean.jpg Never know what you'll see out here... http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/SuperMoto.jpg Another nice pic from Clyde at Bird's Eye Photography: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a55/l48shark/Track/Labor%20Day%202006/LeftLean.jpg I am officially a track whore now. Nice, those supermotards can RIP IT with a good rider on a tight course.

Is your friend on a R1 or a R6? It was an R6. Much better tool than the R1 for this technical course. :2cents: Nice, those supermotards can RIP IT with a good rider on a tight course. Yeah, that guy definitely held his own!

Cant get it down!!!

Is the tread on the guy on the yellow Firebolt's front tire backwards? yeah...it seems to be....most guys that run the track alot flip their tires after a few track day to get more life out of the tires....but usually you just flip the rear.
