There is a guy here at work with a bike identical to that. Its a '92 and he has it for sale. $3500. Seems like too much, but I dont really know much about older GSXR's.

Same as yours, its got a K&N, jet kit, Vance &Hines pipe. He is even throwing in a matching Shoei helmet. Its painted just like the bike.

I've got the same helmet...but it's 14 years old like the bike. The bike is worth about $2500 mint condish.

This one isnt mint. I mean cosmetically its good, but you can see the carbs are leaking. So the helmet is no good huh? Arent you supposed to buy a new helmet every 5 years?

Thats what I've heard. Maybe his helmet is newer. They are good bikes...I just rolled over 28k on mine this weekend. But not work 3 and a half grrr.

The integrity of the shell material and what have you comes in question after so many years. It's a matter of safety.

I'm not sure...I'm sure its still sounds, structurally...but over time anything is gonna begin to break down. No doubt you dont wanna smack down another half a G for a new lid...but it's the price you gotta pay periodically.:idk: Plus it's fun to buy new stuff.
