Spy shots:cheers: marko138 09-21-2006, 02:07 PM Crazy looking rig. JEKYLL 09-21-2006, 02:13 PM Man...I was just recently trying to see if those were in prod. yet... I've been lookin REEEEEAAL hard at the KTM 625 or the Husqvarna 610  and maybe ....ahem....gettingridofthesportbike....ahem,cough....shhhh:wink: Knight 09-21-2006, 02:14 PM As 'tards everywhere rejoice... 1BadCBR 09-21-2006, 03:42 PM  sdog30 09-21-2006, 04:01 PM I like the exhaust set-up, but not a real big fan of the cross-breed lookin' bikes like the BMW set-up. DLIT 09-21-2006, 04:34 PM Pretty cool. SSS= bac1023 09-21-2006, 09:48 PM I like it! OneSickPsycho 09-21-2006, 11:44 PM 100HP twin... 385lbs... In command riding position... Plus... it's a Ducati... rlsedition 09-26-2006, 10:40 AM You really believe that 385 lbs. stuff? The only thing that reduces mass on the Hyper is its smaller fairing design. Single-sided swing arms add mass versus two-sided. Plus the twin front brakes the majority seem to want.
My guess is that the Hyper will weigh about what an SS does with a 1/2 fairing - about 435 lbs. wet. If you really want light weight, there are a number of 4-stroke single-cylinder motards out there. Dry weight 385lbs, I buy it... rlsedition 09-26-2006, 02:34 PM Your excitement about the Hyper is clouding your vision. If you are looking for a nice-looking, V-twin 'motard from Ducati, then the Hypermotard is your machine. Just don't call it lightweight, because, based on the specs, it won't be. I didn't call it lightweight and I agree that at 385lbs dry, it would not be... Either you are arguing just for the sake of arguing or...

In this competitive market, their bikes are too heavy, and given that any 4-cylinder bike will make more HP than a same-design V-twin, less weight can really make a difference. jeeps84 10-10-2006, 11:07 AM Nice find! :dthumb:
