Go idea Sicko..... added this to the calander!

Had a great time riding with everyone today, it was gorgeous once it warmed up a bit! Just on our way through ohio on way to races and thought would say hi and had lots of fun.

Muck Fichigan!!! univeristy of course, cause you guys have some great roads:cheers: it was nice to get out and meet everyone, one of the better rides of the year that is for sure:twfrox:

made it back, 23 was stop and go for acouple miles, thought the zxxer was going to puke coolant there for a lil while

I made it back in 1 hour 25 min. Thanks Pickle for showing me a quicker way back to 96! The ride was awesome. It was worth the long ride to get over there. Nice twisty roads in that area. :dthumb:

So the ride on Saturday was tons of fun! Super (from WOS) was a great leader and despite my 1st half issue with pushing wide in my right-handers (sorted it out in the 2nd half) it was a nice ride. Here are some pics, I'll try to identify some of the TWFers in the pics... Thanks Nee! The leathers are actually the Hein Gericke 'Celtic' suit. I got it on eBay from a guy that wore it once and it didn't fit him but since he had worn it at a track day the place he bought it wouldn't let him return it. So I got a suit with an MSRP of $800 for under $200 cuz I was the only bidder and the bidding started at $180. It fits me great as far as I can tell. I definitely give props to drewpy & GR, I think they had the longest way to go in the freezing morning weather! We only had just under an hour to ride there & were rockin on the express way - I was tucked as low as I could go and had the left hand behind the windscreen - throttle hand had a bit of thawing out to do once we got there. Day ended up absolutly gorgeous though and I'll post up my pics tonight. I had a blast! :dthumb:

i have more respect for sv's after following you on 23 for the lil bit Yeah she'll get up and go a bit, but I did lose some top end with the gearing that I have, but that's the trade-off. I care most about my performance in the twisties and on the track, not so much in a straight line. I was a little disappointed that you were in front of me for the second half of the ride Saturday, I didn't push wide or cross the yellow once after lunch. I didn't want you thinking that I was a completely incompetent rider.

Hey don't sell yourself short, you're on a 636! and yeah the only way to keep up with them even for a little bit when they take off is to anticipate and be on the throttle before they get on it. Even then it's pretty much hopeless...I want Twisty's bike soooo bad, but I'm not enough rider for a bike like that yet so I'll have to wait a few years.

i got a trailer and a jeep to tow it, but the ride there is half the fun

the only thing that i dont like is that its hell on the pp, i hate to waste them on everyday roads, thats why they are coming of and the old butteraxes are going back on until either a track day or deals gap

Don't get it twisted they aren't riding to their limit. I can not tell you how many riders I have picked their bikes out of the ditch trying to do that. I know both you guys are way smarter than that. It was a great ride, and AWESOME group of riders. Many different varieties of riders and machines. Pippi if you want me too I will host those pics in my PB account. Just let me know. Or of coarse use TWF as well.

They have rules about riding... some you heard and others you didn't. But no passing in corners or stuffing. No side by side or dangerous stunts in the group. Just to name a few.
