York Open House Sept. 28-30

:lol: yeah, i rode a buell at the open house 2 yrs ago. i think it was the firebolt. i'd like to ride the HD street rod this time around. maybe i'll slip up there thu. or fri. morning. don't know which yet. those demo rides fill up fast though, so the earlier you get there the better. saturday night bike night sounds cool. i wanna check that out as well. they need to be a bit more in depth with their details though.

How do the rides work? You can only do 1 or what? You gotta sign up?

yeah, you go sign up for a slot, depending on what you wanna ride. i wanted to ride the street rod last year, but they were all filled up for the day already (this was at 11am). i had no trouble, however, the year i wanted to ride the buell. they tend to be less popular for the demo rides. it's first come first serve, they give you a slot and you report back if there is no opening immediately. at least if they are still doing it the way they had before, this applies...

and i assume you can ride as many as you can get scheduled for...

Yes. rain tomorrow and clearing on Friday. Saturday it will be chilly 66 for a high.

hmmm...well maybe that will imit the lines on the demo rides a bit...:lol: i guess i'll wait and see what happens.

As long as the weather is nice I'll be riding around. Only live about 5 miles from H.D. plant.
