Hanging around the sportbike crowd sometimes makes me feel a little old. At 36 I think like a 20 something but have 10 years more experience, so I feel i am at my prime. Then some kid asks me what life was like without cell phones or internet.:idk: So when I feel old I just think " Only gotta work 30 more years to retire at 65 and who knows maybe by them they will have raised the recommended retiremant age to 75 or somethin" and I don't feel so old anymore:wink:

:nonod: :nonod: :nonod: ah man............you had to mention that, didn't you. I was just arguing with my wife over getting a cell phone for our daughter. All I could say was, "we got by just fine without them, why can't she"?! Needless to say, her phone arrived today. I too feel old at 37. :nonod: :nonod: :nonod:

I'm 35 and fell like I'm caught in the middle. Most the Sportbike riders are in their early 20's around here. Most the Sport compact guys are in their early 20's too. The Vette guys average 45+ and same with my HD friends. I'm either the old man still hanging with the kids or the young kid that don't no Jack. :help:

I like it better than when I used to run with the Vette crowd and felt like I was 2 generations behind them. That part didn't bother me and most of them were cool, but a lot of them seemed to have a problem with younger people in the club. Maybe it's because their kids were my age, so to them it was like when my wife and I get a babysitter and go to a restaraunt only to be seated next to a family with screaming kids? :idk:

Use it or lose it:cheers: Yeah a wife, 2 step kids, 18 month old, and a mortgage, sure do make you feel old...But the commute to work on the 636 makes me giddy like a kid. Generally speaking, the Vette/Harley crowd is older guys 'cause they are the only ones who can afford to play that game, not cause they are doing some mid life thing. I think all guys act like kids regardless of age. So why don't young guys see that your still happening even if your 10-15 years older? Is it just paranoid? Inferiority complex? Do they really believe that age and treachery will beat youthful enthusiasm?
