I just wish I could draw legible letters. even my handwriting sucks, there's no way I could ever do that. On the other hand, my work is pretty cheap, I'll spray-paint stick figures on your car or bike for only the cost of the materials.

Ive been messin around with spray paint but it doesnt work quite as well. Didnt think it would in the first place but it was worth a try.

I forget his name, but he's the guy that originated the whole "real flames" look. He's sick. His technique is pretty simple though. He uses card stencils and just slowly builds up the layers of color. He can make crazy stuff appear out of the flames, though. Like on Overhaulin' he put the head of a pitbull made of flames because this guy had just gotten a new puppy.:dthumb:

My handwriting is pathetically horrible as well, but I am actually a pretty decent artist...

Nope, but you can buy a cheapo single action airbrush and compressor for about $100... It's a good place to start...

That's all airbrushing really is... I know when I was into it way back in the day, I spent 25% of my time planning, 50% masking/layering, and 25% of the time actually painting...
