cracker 10-02-2006, 06:09 PM hi everyone,i see the majority of you guys/gals are from the USA,hope you dont mind a limey from the UK joining your merry band.....well a little about myself,i`m 43 who still thinks he`s in his 20`s lol been riding for a good few years now just sold my R1 (y2k) and replaced it with a GSXR1000 k4,myself and a couple of friends go touring around europe each year for a week or so apart from this year we went to the isle of man TT........too many speed traps in the UK:cursin: ...well wont bore you too much i`ll save a little for another time :wink:

Those TT guys are crazy! I bought the '05 season a month ago. Sickness! Bollocks!
mrchen 10-03-2006, 05:30 AM I think most of us feel like the UK riders are family (as mine is from cornwall). I like to read the UK's "BIKE" magazine and I think its one of the finest put out on our sport. Sounds to me like the UK bike scene is really good!
However I have heard many stories about huge insurance cost, taxes, restrictions and yes, speed traps.
Please give us yanks a feeling for the trails and tribulations and costs I would have to endure to own a GSXR1000K4 in the UK.

You and I are thinking the same thing. The slang term I use to call alot of my friends. Of coarse I'll call any race a "cracker" its just my thing. A few of my black buddies laugh pretty good when I call them that! :lol: :D Its all good!
