Who wants to watch guys who need a week between games to recover? 7. Too many boring names like Smith and Jones in the NFL. 6. Players carrying weapons are always more exciting. 5. In hockey, the last line of defense is always the goaltender. In football, many times the last line of defense is a pint-sized punter (although we have to admit it's fun to watch him get his ass run over). 4. Football players are so damn ugly they're all required to wear masks. 3. Ok, you tell me: Sudden-death playoff hockey or sudden-death playoff football? 2. You don't have to tolerate a dictatorial, know-it-all, commissioner who's dragging the quality of the product down. (Oops, scratch that). 1. Actually...about #11. Last monday night's game, Packers and Eagles game they were calculating a pass either Favre or Mcnabb threw in comparison to a 97 mph major league fast ball. Somehow comparing the baseball's size and distance to the football's size and distance. I wonder how the same math would compare puck to football?:idk:
