Gas Man 10-18-2006, 07:15 PM Well we knew it would happen...
The custom chopper builders trying to get some more sportbike guys to come over to the v-twin stuff. Much like Rolland Sands... there are now many other builders trying the same thing....
This is the newest one...
Exile Cycles RX Streetfighter (http://www.exilecycles.com/index.php?section=110)
The specs aren't on the page but I found out that its going to run a heavy modified Jim's V-Twin... so it will go!
What do you think????

Throw some Powers on it and I'd take it for a spin.
Gas Man 10-18-2006, 09:28 PM Did you notice all the real CF parts?
Captain Morgan 10-18-2006, 09:42 PM What do you think????

Word.
1SickGixSix 10-19-2006, 08:14 AM That bike is gorgeous...not worth 75k for a finished bike or 40k for the kit...and that trike is the **** with the 2 F1 tires on the back
mmm, not so much, then again, I sont care for the streetfighter look tho...i do however love the CF parts!

I was beginning to think I was the only one that didn't like the look of the bike. I agree about the CF parts as well, but the bike itself just does nothing for me.
OneSickPsycho 10-19-2006, 10:16 PM And where would that be?
It wouldn't be...

Gas Man 10-19-2006, 11:42 PM The tailights and blinkers for it are under the seat behind some mesh. Can't see them until they light up....

i am thinking it doesnt matter how popular you look, when you are selling bikes at 75K a pop or just really expensive bikes, there cant be that many people buying them!! but thats just my :2cents:
drewpy 10-24-2006, 07:48 PM (oYo)
drewpy 10-24-2006, 07:49 PM i just wanted to add that sorry:leaving:
TOMMYTOM 10-24-2006, 07:58 PM It's cool but 75 grand... i don't think so. why when you could buy a "used" jap bike for 3-5 grand that would handle better and spank that overpriced POS any day of the week. :idk: overpriced isn't even the word.

I agree that 75g's is way too much, but performance is not the reason you buy one of their bikes...
Gas Man 10-24-2006, 11:39 PM Even $40k is a bit much... but typicall "pro-builders" style and price.

:iagree: Yep.
EIDROEDYR 11-03-2006, 11:25 AM I'm late on this thread but I like this one as I like the styling of all Exiles bikes. I am surprised to hear they are bankrupt. I would have thought they'd be in better shape with the exposure they got from their Build or Bust series.

itgirl25 11-03-2006, 02:06 PM i think that bike is ugly. it looks like they spent a whole 10 minutes designing it. way overpriced, if you ask me.
Gas Man 11-04-2006, 11:00 PM Yeah I watch build or bust... but that show is irritating till the end... but then if they win it... you're cheerin on the TV while burn it out!!
marko138 11-07-2006, 09:32 AM Did they claim bankruptcy? Or not?

:iagree: Mostly the editing and the producer constantly stopping the builder from building with his :2cents: .
