05' kawasaki ninja 636..... Knight 10-23-2006, 09:24 AM Not a ton of stunters here, and I certainly can't help you. but good luck. ride safe. BravoX1 10-23-2006, 09:24 AM Endo's...Yea well if you can do a stoppie you can do these but theyre a bit more risky. instead of a stoppie wich your probably going from 20 to 0 and doing this. Endo's need to be done anywhere from 45- 80 mph. On the breaks hard. Make sure the tails not gonna come around. Feel the bike. Dont crash and watch out for wabbles....Any other questions? be specific. SMFB636 10-23-2006, 09:29 AM so like around 50 or so...just slam the brake pretty hard till u feel it come up and then about half brake or just slowly let it out or what:idk: BravoX1 10-23-2006, 09:49 AM Hard on the breaks till it comes up, dont go nearly as far as you do on stoppies. then little breaking as possible just like a wheelie, you really just want to control i would say that you are really just scuffing the binders if your balanced...
But remember if you go past that balance point, how do you get it back down? apfire26 10-24-2006, 05:56 PM Don't even try to bring the back end up at first. Just go about 40 mph and stop as smooth and as quick as possible. Keep doing that and get on the brakes harder each time. Eventually the rear wheel will start to float as you are stopping. Once the rear wheel starts to come up you'll know exactly what you have to do. You won't come close to balance point your first few days of doing them, so don't worry about that, you may think you have bp, but you'll really be nowhere near it.
I tought my buddy to roll them about 15 feet his first day useing this method.
PS. Whatever you do, don't continue locking the front wheel up and coming to a complete stop like you have been doing. That's the easiest way to fall/loop when learning. Goodluck:dthumb: Captain Morgan 10-24-2006, 06:59 PM I'm not into stunting, but I think apfire has the best advice. Work your way up to it, don't just grab a handful of brake. :iagree: Grabbing a handfull of brake is gonna get your to lock the front. You don't want that. BravoX1 10-25-2006, 08:10 AM I agree with these guys....Becareful of what pavement your going this on also....greasy roads are no good. FcarsBuyABike 10-25-2006, 08:54 PM yea dont start your bike up after work one night and try to do one, befor u get the tires heated. it isnt fun at all...:yikes: :cursin: SMFB636 10-25-2006, 09:37 PM alright....well i will try to do this without seriously hurting myself....but thankz for all ur help FcarsBuyABike 10-26-2006, 06:13 PM too me, stoppies are easyer then wheelies because u can see the ground comeing at u, plus u are slowing down not speeding up.. BravoX1 10-26-2006, 06:16 PM too me, stoppies are easyer then wheelies because u can see the ground comeing at u, plus u are slowing down not speeding up..
Yea well i gave him advice. I disagree on them being easyer... less control and yea you can see the road coming but you can also see it very close as your tail section slams your head into the ground. SMFB636 10-26-2006, 10:26 PM with my bike being stock....for next year should i get the side cages...or not...:idk: marko138 10-27-2006, 05:59 AM Yea well i gave him advice. You should get one right now if you're gonna try that BS. marko138 10-27-2006, 06:03 AM You should get one right now if you're gonna try that BS.

:iagree: Most cages look horrible, but I am confident that one can be made that actually looks decent... 1BadCBR 10-27-2006, 11:32 AM :iagree: Most cages look horrible, but I am confident that one can be made that actually looks decent...

C'mon... this one (http://www.crashcage.com/shop954.htm) isn't completely horrible... I think a creative mind with some welding skills could make one that was a little more subtle... 1BadCBR 10-27-2006, 11:38 AM C'mon... this one (http://www.crashcage.com/shop954.htm) isn't completely horrible... Get one if you plan on stunting a lot. I just ordered one the otherday.
If your gunna just do basic stoppies and wheelies there should be no need for one. If you plan on rolling stoppies over 50ft, or doing slow parking lot wheelies then you definatly need one. Your bike will go down. | |
