I broke down and bought an XBox 360...

...because I was broke. I wouldn't be able to afford the PS3 and a game when it came out, so I bought the premium XBox package for 4 bills. Now this comes with a 1-year free subscription to XBox Live, right? Anybody have the little adapter for the Box so you don't have to run a wire to your modem? How much was it? Also, this is probably going to turn into "my questions about the XBox thread". Feel free to ask your questions here too. MotoGP '06 sucks. Not graphic wise, but camera view and physics wide. Picked up ghost Recon and it f'n kicks ass! I think I played for 10 hours this weekend. Saw a preview for Gears of War too. INSANE!! The new Tony Hawk is trick too. Comes out next week. I might buy that next, I don't know yet. Please don't turn this into a PS3 vs. 360 thread. There's already one around here. :thx1:

There are some great games out for it and more to come. Get Test Drive Unlimited and especially Gears of War. Emergence Day is 11/12/06 but I get my copy tomorrow :woo: :willy: F.E.A.R is supposed to be pretty awesome too.

Yeah, I have the 360. Gears looks amazing. I only have a few games for it. Prey, Splinter cell, and Fear. All three are awesome. Get Fear, you won't be sorry.

So how will your rig work if you take it over there? On base is 110 volts, and most modern houses off base have both, 220 and 110 sockets. I won't be living off base, so I should be straight.

No one answered my question yet. Does anybody know how much that little adapter is, so I don't have to hook the ethernet cable up ALL the way across the room? I have a router and all I need is the adapter for the XBox. And is the firrst year of XBox live free when you get the premium package?
