Ok, someone please explain to me who the hell this guy is and the point of this movie. I've seen him on Letterman and Conan, but always in the middle of the interview so I have no idea what the hell is going on. Now he shows up here so I guess this is something new. :scratch:

Ok, so Borat is a character that a man from England by the name of Sasha Cohen plays. Sasha had a show on HBO called the Ali G show. Basically he plays different characters to push the limits on unsuspecting peopl, including a lot of high profile celebrities and govenrment. He is an extremely educated and intelligent man. He graduated top honors from Cambridge U with his masters. On his Ali G show, he did a lot of interviews on many provocative subjects, like abortion, and security and what not and just made fun of American culture and biasis. I have the first season of the Ali G show and it is exteremely hilarious.

You can rent the Ali G show from any movie rental place.

What's funny is that even now for the promotion of the movie nobody in the media is allowed to interview Sasha Cohen. They have to interview the Borat character. I've heard a few interviews since the movie was released and he is awesome at staying in character no matter what kinds of questions are asked.
