What do men really like to get for Christmas....

Ah, yes, it's that time of year.... time to soak in all the commercialism of the holiday season and start stressing about gift-buying. So the girls on one of my women's rider forums are already starting to :yikes: about what to buy their men for Christmas... But since this forum is quite male-dominated, I'll pose the question to you guys... what do YOU want for Christmas. And don't give me the usual "b**wjob," "a threesome", etc.... I mean seriously..... what would you like your wife or GF to get you? Car stuff? Bike stuff? Gear? A trackday? Clothes? Computer stuff? iPod?

My wife doesn't know what or how to buy for my wish list. I want a Jardine CF Slip on exhaust and Powercommander, but will end up with a couple of pairs of jeans or shirts. Maybe some tools. My X had this figured out. She would just ask me to list a few good things and then tell me not to buy them for my self. Sometimes I would get it all and others only part. I'm really going to miss my annual gift certificate to the MC shop from my Mother in-law too.

About the 1st of November (or a couple months before our respective birthdays), we give each other a list of all KINDS of items we want (wide variety) with the understanding that we're not allowed to buy it for ourselves once we've listed it. :dthumb: But then we're both also good at coming up with surprise items not on the lists. (AND.... Three Wishes.com just sent out an email today on their new Naughty Santy/Christmas lingerie offerings.... :drool: )

I just say what I want... and she gets it for me... She doesn't make decisions ever so I usually fly blind a little for what to get her...

(then again, there's nothing wrong with the direct approach, "hey, it'd be SOOOO hot if you....." She'll love that you want to :drool: over her all year long! :dthumb: )

But if she DID buy you what you actually want, what would you ask her for? Bike gear and accesories. 1 piece leather suit. Boots. Thats about all I want, I have everything else I could want. Maybe more power tools. I could use a router table. Oh and maybe a Movado watch($4500).

Gift certs from the bike shops work well for me, but anymore I have most of the crap I really want, so I'd rather get extra stuff for the kids. We usually give each other a "gift certificate" for time off. It's tough with 3 kids to take off, so I'll give her a weekend trip with her friends, and she will do the same for me.

Big TV....Video games....big tv...yea that rounds it out.

I make it a point to visit the homeless shelters and retirement homes. You would be amaze at how many elders we have in homes who don't even receive visits from their family during the holiday seasons.
