Everybody, start burning styrofoam...

and letting airisols into the air. The weather up in the north is getting too cold for comfort, and i wont get my bike back for two weeks :cursin: .


If i wanted to take a ride to, oh, say north carolina in the winter, and i left on a nice day up here, about how long would it take me to reach warm climate? (im in northern ohio)

what would you suggest i do with my winter gear as it warms up?

should i adjust the air pressure in my tires at all as it warms up?

is it even a good idea to try to go on such a trip in the winter?


I gotta get somewhere warm, and I'd love to take my bike there... So shed some light on the situation for an enthusiastic newbie.

Leather is your friend. Otherwise wear somin under your jeans. Plus some cold weather gloves.. do a search here... but I suggest the power trip dakota gloves.

You must always adjust your air pressure as the outside temp changes up or down.

Even in the south there is cold weather... you may have to nearly fing the keys to get the real hot weather.

alls i know is i'm not stoppin til i can get my swim trunks on and tackle some land sharks.

I still have to buy some gear but i was granted a wonderful buffer time to do so when Grandma nearly killed me last week.

I'd like something that will keep me warm now ( if i layer of course) but i can use in the summer as well. any good brands w/ warm liners? and as far as riding pants go i'll probobly end up w/ some synthetics. anything particular i should look out for?
