:iagree: But who knows about reliability or performance. Rae 12-20-2006, 02:50 PM thats cool, what about someone who has a kid that wants to ride, say at 16 or so, that might be perfect!!! itgirl25 12-20-2006, 03:29 PM :iagree: neebelung 12-20-2006, 03:33 PM It'd be an awesome starter bike... looks way sportier than a Ninja 250, so why not? 99birdv6 12-20-2006, 03:49 PM Hey, If I can change out the rear sprocket +7 then I would have some fun stunting that thing out.:dthumb: Rider 12-20-2006, 03:51 PM Hey, If I can change out the rear sprocket +7 then I would have some fun stunting that thing out.:dthumb:

:dthumb: true WarpedRotor 12-20-2006, 04:04 PM looks like a great n00b bike. I would get one for my daughters if they expressed more interest in learning to ride. 70 to 80 mpg? nice commuter fuel range!
You get what you pay for and those look like the BiC lighters of the motorcycle industry. They do look better than the "motorcycles" they sell at PepBoys. Rae 12-20-2006, 04:15 PM they sell bikes a Pep Boys???:yikes: ShanMan14 12-20-2006, 06:05 PM they sell bikes a Pep Boys???:yikes:

Did you see that it has a rear drum brake system!!! Captain Morgan 12-22-2006, 12:34 AM I would, simply because it has "one of the best engine in the world". Captain Morgan 12-22-2006, 12:34 AM Ooh, and I guess it plays music with it's "triple instrumental panel" marko138 12-22-2006, 12:36 AM I would, simply because it has "one of the best engine in the world".

Yeah did you see that it has the always wanted fuel gauge though! chumlysgrl 02-07-2007, 12:26 PM They actually sell those at a dealership about 30 minutes from me. Also an on/off road version. They really didn't look too bad, for going around town or whatever. I didn't ask the dealer anything about them tho. Just noticed how its styling was a hell of a lot better than the ninja 250 I was riding that day. I am sure mechanically tho, it doesn't come close to the ninja. byron12 02-08-2007, 09:57 PM Probably not very reliable but perfect for a teen rider except they would probably rather not have a bike than something like that they would probably rather drive your wifes station wagon at 100 miles an hour. NONE_too_SOFT 02-08-2007, 09:59 PM :iagree: But who knows about reliability or performance.
nobody's going to the track on that thing... drewpy 02-08-2007, 10:06 PM it is a knock off honda xr 250 motor, one of the guys at my school has one, think off road with lights tags, and street tires King Bob 02-10-2007, 04:19 PM looks to me like an ugly bike. I really like the ninja 250 better in every possible way. might not be a bad bike for a beginner, but I dont want it. just doesnt have the fit and finish of a quality japanese machine. TATER 02-10-2007, 07:48 PM THE POST SAYS MAX SPEED OF 75MPH BUT THE SPEEDO GOES ALL THE UP TO 100MPH:idk:     OneSickPsycho 02-10-2007, 08:27 PM I would, simply because it has "one of the best engine in the world".
Actually one can make a good argument that it is...
it is a knock off honda xr 250 motor, one of the guys at my school has one, think off road with lights tags, and street tires
It shouldn't be cheapened by 'knock off'... When I think knock off I think something that looks like it, but isn't... The Lifan engines are identical to the ol' Honda engine, except one says Lifan on the side and the other says Honda.
THE POST SAYS MAX SPEED OF 75MPH BUT THE SPEEDO GOES ALL THE UP TO 100MPH:idk:
Sorta like the 'busa going up to 220...
I've considered one of these or something similar just for commuting, but I think I am holding out for a DRZ-400SM... NONE_too_SOFT 02-10-2007, 08:35 PM but they just scream "lack of craftsmanship"
Like dollar store toys. Sure they're a dollar, but do they have kung fu grip? kawi 636 02-10-2007, 09:00 PM maybe if i had a son.. i wouldn't buy it myself dscort 02-11-2007, 04:44 PM i wonder if i could put that rear tire on my cbr929. maybe it would be more "old skool".:rofl3: kawi 636 02-11-2007, 05:02 PM maybe if i had a son.. i wouldn't buy it myself
i take this back...
looks cheap drewpy 02-11-2007, 10:24 PM i know i am cheapin the quailty of the site with this, but im too lazy to keep switching over, i cant stop looking at it, its like a horrible car wreck, i just cant stop laughing...http://www.galatamotor.com/images/sportbikes/grx200/green.jpg tburda 02-11-2007, 11:13 PM yeah. idunno. i'd have to see it in person, it might be a cool toy if you lived in like a sub division and wanted to get your kid a xmas present and he wanted to ride..i suppose it's a novelty, it's just a step up from pocket bikes, which are alot of the rage with kids now...so i dunno. if the quality was decent it might be an ok toy for a 14/15/16 year old. marko138 02-11-2007, 11:53 PM I'd $#!T on it. KillerR33d 02-17-2007, 07:09 AM I'd $#!T on it.
