Our cats are so spoiled, I don't know that they'd even know the difference between treats and toys given on Christmas versus every other day of the year.

you can add fish to the japanesse fighting fish (beta's) aslong as the tank is big enough and its not another male fighting fish.....

you can add fish to the japanesse fighting fish (beta's) aslong as the tank is big enough and its not another male fighting fish..... Exactly... I use to have all kinds of fish tanks. 20, 29, 55... you name it... but they suck... too much time required to keep it running and clean. I didn't really buy the pets (bird and cats) anything. They get stuff all year. Now if I still had the dog I would have... cause they get really excited about new stuff. Cats..who knows with them. The bird hates everything new till its been in her house for a few days... then she'll start to detroy it.

Of course you know I did, LOL. They got a bunch of plush squeaky toys (I still can't believe their not all dead yet), nylabones & compressed rawhides. They have been having a blast. It was funny though, Oscar one of my foster dogs, was the first to have Christmas.....woke up to him eating wrapping paper off a gift for my dad! :willy:

i usually do but none of my cats or dogs ever seems to notice any difference btw gifts or just run of the mill treats...and with 9 to provide for and keep distracted...its gets a lil confusing anyway...i have some that love their stuffed "babies" but freak out when the others touch them, and then some that want to play/destroy with cat toys...and the cats prefer to drag my stuff around instead of playing with toys...so most of the time its not worth the hassle, they get chewies year round...
