thanks man, i was really just hopin to hear about a site or something with reviews. I thought about askin drewp but he's from cinci and is goin to school up in tiffin. Both are at least 3 hours from me. is there anything specific i should be asking the shops when i talk to them? i've called a couple in my area but all i asked them was if they could service the bike and get the parts i needed.

Maybe just drive around and check them out in the cage. Get a feel for them and their service shop. You will find out that a stand alone service shop will treat you better. Dealerships don't have to because they usually have you LOCKED in.

i dont know off hand how far akron is from dayton, Honda/Yamaha/suzuki of Troy does good work, they get the nod from me, i take my bike from northern oh to dayton just to get anything big done-and in findley OH the dealership is pretty good, never had a lot of work done there but was impressed with the service guys when they put the sliders on my bike for free :idk:

I dunno about service, but I got a great deal on my bike there... It helps that one of the managers is a friend of the family. It's at least worth checking out...
