...of all the sunny days!!! Who says it never rains in California? So, I'm out of town in the bay area for Christmas. Sun is shining, streets are dry, bikers out stunting on the local streets. It's all good right? Get home last night, starts raining... wake up this morning, still raining. It's been weeks since I put the new wheels and rotors on the Repsol and I haven't been able to get out and see how the feel. I'm dying to put them to the test and see what kind of difference they make, but the weather is not cooperating. I have some time off work this Friday so please cross your fingers for me that the afternoon will be somewhat warm and dry.

No sympathy here. I haven't ridden in three weeks. You can ride in rain, you can't ride in snow. Although on my drive to the hardware store today I saw a guy park his Harley on some frozen slush. So it's possible, and my Avons are good in the wet, but I ain't doing it. Plus it's going to snow a bunch more tomorrow and Friday. Hello white new year's eve.

It's not the rain so much as the icy roadways. Not fun at all!

Avoid that ice! That is that plan. Tomorrow looks good for a little run. I'm off at 1:00pm and hope to finally get some time on the beast.

It is an el nino year... I'm gambling on being able to ride at least every three weeks. So far I've been good. Got out today for three hours. It'll snow, but then it will melt.

Well hot damn, got out for a few hours yesterday. All I can say is WOW! The new lighter wheels are incredible. Quicker turning, flick-ablity and even better acceleration. Mike says the increase I feel in acceleration is probably due to the new ceramic bearings. Who knows, but I do know that I have to re-adjust my suspension settings now as the new lighter bits seem to have played havoc with my current near perfect setup.
