Threats to cause harm, injure or death

Members are not permitted to threaten other members where the context of the comment and/or motive is indeterminable. These threats are limited to the extent to which the forum software allows the management staff to be made aware of such threats or the explicit knowledge such threats exist on the forum by a member of the moderating staff. The modes of such communication include, but are not limited to Private Messaging and posting on the open forum. Such threats taking place outside the confines of the forum are beyond the control of the forum. Due to the nature of the written word, it is nearly impossible to ascertain the meaning behind words, phrases and sentences written by one member to another, even in the context of a conversation. It is for this reason, if the forum management staff deem threatening remarks to have indeterminable motivation, we express the right to moderate, suspend, or ban a member from the site.
