So last night, a group of us bundled up, braved the cold and went riding... we stopped out at the beach for a bit, and someone SORT OF managed to capture the chicken dance on camera... this is my friend Debbie and I (she's still quackin while I'm flappin').... Ok, so it's not on the bikes, and it's not video, but still, it's photographic evidence that the rider-chicken dance exists! http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b247/neebelung/chickendance1.jpg

Last night, it was 30-ish with 17-27 mph winds... wind chills in the low 20's. Tonight? We'll hit 23-ish, still windy... windchills in the teens. The next night, we'll go back up to the low-30's. Yes, it's actually cold here... Sure, maybe not UBER cold for those of you livin' on the polar ice cap, but for those of us who have become accustomed to the mild Southern temps, it's friggin' cold!!!!!!!

But some friends who went to Jennings over the weekend have pictures of the ice/frost accumulation on their bikes Saturday morning... they actually had enough to have a (small) snowball fight!

California is like France in a lot of ways. It's a nice place if the people weren't there. Edit: Yes I am sure there are some nice people there just like there might be in France (I don't believe it about France though), but in general, I am happy here.
