Yeah, but the drummer bailed and he was the only other person with a kit. So for now he's drumming... it was covered in another thread.

Right on man, I play lead guitar and bass, my influences vary from 80's thrash metal (Metallica/Testament), power metal (Sonata Arctica) , Black Metal (In Flames, C.O.B) , to stuff like Tool. All wrapped in one heavy fast ride. Keep up the good work.

What kind of kit do you have now? Notta... I sold everything years ago. I had a 9 piece Pearl Export, a Roland TD9, and my first set ever was a Remo pretuned 5 piece. The only drum I still have because I refused to sell it is a 1933 Ludwig piccallo snare w/ a brass shell. I've been playing a set of Tama's that belong to a guy from work. We get together once a week, just to jam. We're talking about taking it local, and maybe recording a few songs.

I got it for 100 bucks...it was only a year old so it was a steal. I just dropped 4 bones on 2 cymbals. 18" Sybian AAX metal Crash and a 18" AAX China. They sound incredible.

That's an incredible deal.

Yeah I couldn't pass it up. I put some Evans hydraulic heads...they sound awesome. Nice... Cuz I hate ring. When I first went over to play w/ the guy from work I showed him how to muffle the heads w/ tissue and black tape. He kinda looked at me funny till he heard the diff.. That's why I love electronic drums- no mics, no tuning, no feedback, just plug in and play. Have you played the TD20? I prefer the "feel" of acoustic drums but the sound of electric is 10,000 times better. And set up/teardown is a dream.

I can't stand the feel. Plus...I dont have a use for that many drum sounds. I use moon gels on some of my heads too...snare and floor tom.
