No Worries

Just got the December, 2004 issue of Consumer Reports. Hard to believe, but they tested pocket bikes. They tested two gas-powered and two electric bikes from Pep Boys and Amazon.com. They were astonished by the bikes' shortcomings.
Drivers can't see the bike riders because the seat is two feet off the ground. The brakes work poorly. The handling is sub-par. The throttles are sluggish. The gas engines were as loud as chainsaws. And no government agency checks the bikes for lights or safety standards.

Those things are cool for parades, but I don't think I'd want to spend the money to own one.

look at this
thats a pocketbike?? damn!!!
I guess they are fun from a novelty sake for me, and something to goof around on, and if i had the extra cash, i'd own one, just to say I had one and play around with it from time to time.
but i'll stick w/ my beast for most of my fun..

Where do I get that one. I was going to get my son a corvette but it doesn't go fast enough and I know he will grow out of it to fast. With one of these he will be able to play with it for a long time(and me LOL). :D
