These are the findings of the Education State Rankings, a survey by Morgan Quitno Press of hundreds of public school systems in all 50 states. States were graded on a variety of factors based on how they compare to the national average. These included such positive attributes as per-pupil expenditures, public high school graduation rates, average class size, student reading and math proficiency, and pupil-teacher ratios. I am utterly shocked at the ranking for Indiana. People here are sooooo incredibly dumb, I'm blown away that 32 other states are dumber (at least measured by school performance). :sob: That's a cool article, thanks!

If Canada took over Detroit then Michigan would go from 31 to say 51 out of 50. Bush actually one York,PA (my town) big time, but the big cities of Pittsburgh and Philly just had too much of a democratic population and over took us. It's all philadephia's fault, they make PA look bad, that dirty arse city!! :wink: but seriously though, it's still amazing that when I drive by in the city all the time, and see the people of my town and the other big cities in PA..how in the world we are near the top is beyond me..
