yeah yeah yeah saint. :D interesting though I never really got into star trek or other sci fi flicks like that .. but Star Wars has a cult-like following every since it originally aired, its really wild..conventions, special showings, anything you can imagine. I wish I still had those star wars toys i had when i was kid.

By the way, if you know anyone that's looking for an .01 Tattooine Maul on card in mint condition, let me know b/c I have 5 of them. Don't mind Saint, he has no hobbies other than taking bubble baths by himself which he has dubbed, "Me Time." :D

thats it, we're draggin saint to the opening day showing of episode 3..before hand we'll make him sit thru and entire marathon setting of the other 5, just to get him up to speed! :D

You could hold Saint's family and garage hostage and I still don't think you'd get him to sit through even half of one. Back to Star Wars. . Lucas really pissed me off w/ 1 and 2. The story is there, he just needs to let someone else do the casting and dialogue. :( The only thing that makes episode 1 watchable for me is the Pod Race, and Darth Maul. Ep 2 was actually pretty good, I thought. I mean, Natalie Portman in essentially a white body suit can only be good for a movie. :here: Still, Ep 3 looks every bit as dark as most of us thought it would be.

I though espisode 1 was a bit of a let down, but overall not too bad..the pod races, and darth maul were definately the best.. I thought jar jar was way to flaky for that movie.. episode 2 I thought was pretty good, the big fight at the colesium (sp) at the end was wild...all those jedi dying really helped add to what will happen in the next one, cuz they're sure arent many left after that battle. I never realized the storm troopers were actually fighting for the good at first, till that episode..although they are clones, so ya know... Epidsode 3 defiantely looks to be as dark as anything lucas has ever done with star wars.. seeing darth rise like that is wild.

I completely agree. You'll love this if you haven't read it. . it's his original script. I wish he'd made this to start with, but the original trilogy is still badazz. http://www.godamongdirectors.com/scripts/swd1.shtml

Im with you Charlie Mav I never got into the new star wars episodes but I do like the original movies as well. Eewoks rule everything... I'm a child of the 70s, so the first three movies (IV, V, VI) were, until the release of the Lord of the Rings series, my all-time favorite movies. I've not been able to associate well with the first movies (I, II), though. Don't know if I'm just past the age, or if they're truly inferior; YMMV. Anyway, I admit this trailer gets me excited, and as with others, got some goosebumps!

70's child too, but LOTR doesn't sniff Star Wars! Ep 1 and 2 pretty much sucked, however, there were enough kickazz scenes between the two to make up for it. Pod Race, Darth Maul, Yoda w/ the light saber, Jango Fett, etc.

Pod Race, Darth Maul, Yoda w/ the light saber, Jango Fett, etc. Well, at least I'm not the only one with an issue in Eps I and II. As for LotR, sorry, but that's an amazing story combined with exceptional acting. Nevermind the connections to the amazing (but admittedly difficult-to-read) books.

episodes 1 & II couldnt help but be different..the technology, for one thing was far more advanced than during the original 3...the creative mind of george lucas has had a couple decades to tweak his story line and characters, so it was bound to be alittle hard to take for us hard core original star wars fans. I think they were good, and the story lines fell together nicely.. there were some dead spots in both flicks and some characters that made me just  as to why there were there..but overall, they werent too bad, IMHO :)
