OK, so I edited the first post! Sense, Management wants me to have this thread than I'll deal with it. So everyday or so I'll try to add a little tid bit of info and/or thought into this thread. I won't promise any good content but it will be something for you to read!! First tid bit... I was driving to work tonight and talking to N4S, on my cell, about this thread. hair grows, because it continually needs replaced from being damaged, from everything to the sun, lack of oxygen from wearing a hat all the time, to using too many hair products, poor weather conditions, etc. so ur body replaces it continuously so it stays healthy. plus it acts as protection as well..example those who are bald have to use sunscreen on their heads in the summer alot or else they'll burn..those with longer have dont have this problem near to the degree that they do. there's my hair 101 thought for the day..im sure CJD will chime in on this later.. :D

So here it is: Bowling is one of the most popular of indoor sports in the US. It is also referred to as "Tenpin Bowling". This game which involves a wooden lane and ten pins originated in ancient Egypt. Europeans took this game of target pins to North America where it blossomed into a modern competitive sport. The game consists of 10 frames. The ten pins are positioned in a triangle at the end of the bowling lane. Pins are shaped from Maple wood, which is then coated with a 3/32-inch-thick layer of plastic. The pins weigh between 3 lb 6 oz and 3 lb 10 oz. The bowling balls are made from non- metallic material and are less than 16 pounds. There are also finger holes in the bowling ball which are meant for gripping and handling the ball. Each bowler rolls the ball twice in each frame unless they hit all ten pins in one try. This is called a strike when a bowler knocks down all ten pins with the first ball. Well I bowl about twice a year now and while the ideas are there. My bowling balls don't fit me that well anymore and it just doesn't work as well. I have a purple hammer, blue hammer, a USOPEN Rhino and another one that I can't remember... Old school balls I'm sure to todays standards! Last night I only pulled a 155 average on 3 games..but like I said, the ball isn't fitting my that right...the thumb is really tight causing the good old "pop" when I go to follow thru... As far as a league with you down there, that wouldn't work that well. I might be able to go to a league up here but even that would be ruff. My schedule is just to F'ed up at this point!

I only use Columbia 300. If anyone ever needs a ball or a ball drilled I know the # 1 pro shop around. Todd is a bad mfr. He just recently drilled a ball for Roy Williams.

You bring in your old ball. He will re-measure you, etc. Check out your old ball, recommend some new ones that he carries or can get and hook you up from there. Give him my name and he will knock 10-20% off.

When Penn-DOT wants to redo our roads they will lay down the black stuff to make it look ok for a year and then come back and put down the good concrete. Let's state the obvious first... people these days make alot of money. With all the Hollywood stars, pro atheletes, and yahoo/ebay millionares, the number must be thru the roof. Just think about how much money it would be if you were to add up EVERYONES bank account balances! OK... Now think about all the electronic payments, debit cards, internet purchasing, direct deposits, direct withdraws, check writing and internet banking like PayPal. How much of the "bank balances" of the world is in "REAL" money???? How much "REAL" money (cash) is there in the world? I'm not talking about digital/electronic money...I mean real green paper money!! Just think about it...let's say you net $500 a week. You either take the check and deposit it to your checking account or it gets direct deposited. How much "cash" actually goes thru your hand... $50 a week..... :confused: What's the percent of cash vs "bank balances"??

Don't know about in the world yet but in the US I found this info: The BEP(Bureau of Engraving and Printing) is responsible for designing and printing our paper currency. There is also a satellite production facility located in Fort Worth, Texas, which began operations in January 1991. The BEP produced approximately 37 million currency notes each day with a face value of about $696 million, and 45 percent of these notes are the $1 denomination. Next, a United States Mint sculptor-engraver prepares a plastilene (modeling wax) model in bas-relief from the approved sketch. 3. A plaster of Paris negative is then cast from the plastilene model. 4. They make a plaster positive after suitable preparation of the negative model. 5. The sculptor then submits the plaster positive or photographs of it to United States Mint officials and other interested parties. 6. When final approval is received, another negative is prepared. They use this to make a copper electrotype or galvano. 7. The negative plaster cast is dried thoroughly and treated with hot beeswax and powdered copper. 8. Finally, they attach a conductor and suspend the treated model in a copper electroplating tank. The resulting copper shell, called a galvano, is separated from the plaster and trimmed. After eliminating all defects from the galvano, the engravers add lead to the back to strengthen it. They then mount the completed galvano on a Janvier transfer engraving machine. This machine cuts the design in a soft tool steel blank that is the exact size of the finished coin. This produces a positive replica called a hub. The hub is then heat-treated to harden it. It is then placed on a hydraulic press to prepare a master die, which must then harden. Using a cold forging process, they extract a working hub. United States Mint employees carefully store the original hub to insure against loss of the original reduction. The working hub is what produces the dies that strike the actual coins. Now with making the die and casts and to get the machinery to make all of this is a few 100 million. OK here we go......We can not pay back ourselfs. This does nothing. Yes we do need to stop giving so much of our money to other countrys and helping them out so much. Helping is good on one point but to keep doing this in such great amounts and continue to put the US more and more in to this HUGE DEBT we are in now is ridiculous. The gold is no longer at Ft Knox like everyone thinks it is and hasn't been there for 30+ yrs. There is some there but not like it used to be back in the 60's and the 70's. The mass amount of gold this country owns is in a vault about 50yrds below ground in NY. How do I know this...I was stationed at Ft Knox. If you need to know more just ask and I will tell you. :)

Call them and ask. I did. I called 3 different companys(the 3 large ones) and all 3 said no and that was a myth everyone thinks. :) they dont raise your rates purposefully becuase its red...I said they are indirectly raised because of a history of red cars with traffic citations & accidents. which is true!!! and ive owned a red car or two in lifetime and have seen the rates and talked to insurance companies about it. it sux, but what can you do..

If you called in for rate on a blue car and a red car you will have the same rates. they go off of your past driving history. Just because its red does not mean you will have a higher rate then if it was blue, black, or purple.

This is soooo true. I drove a RED car and look how many times I got pulled over, when there were cars right up with me doing the same speed. I got a speeding ticket and my insurance went up. The fuel is a more needed fuel then the regular day to day gasoline. Diesel is used for trucks, trains, ships, and a few other things that bring us food, turned into white kerosine for heat and what nots that we as a country need to live off of. I know we have reserve of fuel that if something happens to our supply in the Middle East, the government will step in and make sure that it is passed out as a needed bases. Meaning...thoses trucks, ships, and trains will get it turned into diesel first since they bring us things we need. I hope this helps and if you need more let me know. :)

Sorry DJ...NOPE!! Diesel isn't turned into Kerosene!!! They are 2 different fuels!! Diesel or actualy Low Sulfer Diesel (LSD)(not that kind you druggy)! Kerosene is the same thing as Jet Fuel (yes for planes) the only difference is that Jet has VERY VERY VERY stringent regs on it. The number one characteristic of Jet/K1 is the color or lack there of. It is suppose to be Water White...as in, look like water and free of Haze. While DJ is right on what diesel is used for, however that isn't nessicarily the reason. Also, most of your trains and ships actually use High Sulfer Diesel (HSD or red oil). They call it Red Oil because it is usually very dark red, that signifies OFF-ROAD and therefor tax free. This stuff is used in farm equipment and many other things! Diesel, is usually cheaperdue to the good ole supply n demand. There are more gas burning cars than anything. But that has skued over the years and therefor the diesel price has came up a bit! Also take into consideration that most big trucks have a tax free card to buy their fuels!!
