I think that's an old ep. unless they tried it again? If I remember, none of the myths worked. CDs on rearview, IR LEDs on license plate, radar absorbant paint. tin (AL) foil, "wheel of death." AL foil made the gun read faster than actual. :wink: Adds 10 mph :lol:

so what were the results of the show, can you beat the camera? NO :lol: Unless you go full-out stealth- slanted panels and super high-tech materials. I don't think they tried carbon fiber or RCC anything. Just the nasty lead-tar paint stuff.

I thought that brittish tv show with the cars. They did beat the camera I think

they even tried that stuff you buy and spray on your license plate. nada.... the also tried the screen that is supposed to reflect....:nonod:

best way to beat the gun is to slow down when you see the five-oh. Not always! I have passed many of police sittin in the center when I was going by at 125+. And believe me, my speed changed when I seen them... not down! But up to 170+ If you slow down you get busted for the 55 over! F THAT!

They can try all they want to chase them... do the math. It will only take me a matter (back on the 9r that is) of a few seconds to go from 125 to 170. He still is sitting there in the middle and now pulling out... slipping the rear wheels in the dirt and trying to merge on the highway. His car takes over 8 seconds to reach 60. Then he has to deal with all the moronic drivers getting in his way, while I just shoot in between them. Now at this point I'm what... 2 miles ahead of him or more. His car tops out at 130 by govenor in a crown vic or 95 in the suburan. At that point my lead has went up to 3,4,5 miles... I'm off the highway on the side street driving like everything is normal and I jsut got done eating at the local burger joint and just heading home. DONE DEAL!

The cager may not have any clue that the motorcycle is being chased, but they're pissed about a guy flying by them that fast, so they simply call to report it. The report goes out over the radio and now every cop in the area is looking for that bike. Cars can be outrun, but radios and cell phones can't be.

You've got to slow down to get into your neighborhood and get the bike in the garage. I know of some nicely treed roads that I can ride home on that would block any view of a copter and I could slow down enough as to not bring attention to myself as I pull into my street.

I saw it last nite. They did this on top gear a while ago.
