Save your oil after you use it. People say that the oil just gets better as you use it...
Also, get some flavor injection for the bird...it is suppose to work well! Need4Speed 11-05-2004, 02:49 PM can u still stuff them when u fry them ? i havent seen that yet. Gas Man 11-05-2004, 02:49 PM I don't think so, but I've never did it myself... Need4Speed 11-05-2004, 02:50 PM i would think the stuffing wouldnt have enuff time to cook, but I dont know how long you cook them for in the fryer, so hhhmmmm GSXR1000DJ 11-05-2004, 02:57 PM Who?What? When?Where? Actually frying the Turkey doesn't take as long. Usually about 3 -5 mins per pound.

 Didn't mean it like that, I just remember this exact thread last year and it went on for pages. From what I remember it's pretty simple, just don't put too much oil in. :here: Pigface1 11-05-2004, 04:46 PM Thats what I'm talking about. My brother in law has done it with cajun seasonings, etc. I've had it several ways and honestly I can't really tell. . then again, my taste buds are shot. pickle.of.doom 11-05-2004, 08:30 PM Remember to be careful Shan! You wouldn't believe how many turkey day fires are started from frying turkeys! A lot of folks don't take in account for the amount of space in the pot the turkey is going to displace! Better to do it outside in the garage or something. | |
