Avatars

:wtf: is wrong with the avatar settings? I went to change my avatar this morning and even the ones that I use to use here won't go up! Shan, did you guys lower the size allowments for avatars? What's the dilly yo? Also, what do you guys use to shrink pics down to avatar size. I had a freeware version of Adobe photoshop but the 30 trial time is up. I'm looking for something simple that I can download or whatever. Freeware or something of that kind...

I'm looking for something simple that I can download or whatever. Freeware or something of that kind... avatar settings are still at 150 x 150. I just editted mine the other day and it worked fine. sometimes when you save an avatar and try to reupload it, the size gets tweaked slightly, and u have to resize it. but i've never had a problem with it i use a program called the gimp (www.gimp.org) its a free program, you'll have to download the run time envirnment, then the actual program. 2 separate downloads, but its free, u can resize, edit, add text, merge layers, etc. works great!! not a very big program and once you get the hang of it, its pretty easy to use.

I was having problems yesterday trying get my avatar changed but I just kept messing with it and then it worked, Hey GM, I use Irfanview (http://www.irfanview.com/) to resize my pics. Have used it for a few years and really like it. :D

Hey Fat... is that Arnold from WAY back pre-mr universe days? I ya, I have a bunch of pics from his early years. That man was fricken amazing. But the one in my avater is by far my favorite, I would love to have a poster of that mounted on the wall of my workout room.

Have you seen the pics of him at 16? F'in amazing! The guy is a animal! He had a 14way workout. Working out twice a day...morning and evening, doing a set of different body parts every time. So he hit 4 body parts everyday! Just crazy!

The guy was definatly born with the right genes foro it that's for sure. The Pumping Iron Documentary is just great to watch, he has done so much for the sport.
