Kids are so cute.

My daughter is almost two and she's been learning to count. Only problem is she keeps skipping the number 4. She was counting things this morning and said, 1, 2, 3, 5. So I said, it's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. She looked at me and said, 6, 7, 8. Everytime I try to get her to include the 4, she just continues past 5. :lol:

When she hears your different numbers, it will start to click that she's doing it wrong.

My niece did the same thing except hers was with 2, she'd gladly say all the rest and be proud of herself that she knew up to 10! But what I did was got building blocks in cool colors and wrote all the numbers on them. The put the number side face down, I had her "reveal" all the numbers to me, but only if she could say it before she flipped it over, she got so frustrated that she wasnt allowed to flip 2 over until she said it that she learned exactly how to count from 1-10 without missing 2 :)

hehe Capt.... they grow old quick ,,she's almost 2, time does fly doesnt it... my daughters are now 25 and 21 :crazy:

When I tell my 2-year old goddaughter "I love you." She always responds with "too." She won't ever say "I love you,", just "too" no matter how much you ask her to.

I'm doing my part to educate my 3 year old. I use my die cast bikes to teach her bike parts. Like "single-sided swingarm" "steering damper" , etc. She's really catching on.

Thanks for the ideas, I'll have to try a couple, except for the swats (I know it was a joke ;) ). And yes, time certainly flies. Trip, I had the most difficult time getting my daughter to say "I love you". I could get her to say almost anything, but when I said, "say I love you", she'd shake her head and say "no". Now she's to the point where she says "I love you, daddy" on her own.
