I just walked two miles in this.

I literally heard the sweat hit the ground when I took my mask off. Needless to say, my balls were pretty sweaty. I had my regular uniform on underneath my chem gear too. http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u58/DLITALIEN/Picture050.jpg Man, I miss my other base. We didn't do any of that sh*t there. I decided to walk home from work after a twelve hour shift because the bus was "down". Can't go into too much detail, if you know what I mean. And I know some of you are very familiar with my get-up.

You seriously need to kick someone in the balls for making you do that.

Think of the bright side. It wasnt 98 degrees outside, 45 lbs ruck on your back, IBA over top, and a 5 mile distance:idk:

Um... ok! I have did alot of field work in full SCBA and chem gear before. I'm talking like... digging a 4' deep hole by hand.. me and one other dude. Full chem gear with a 45# tank on my back. Then apply a leak clamp to a pipe spueing liquid. Not fun, not cool, and very taxing! It may not ahve been military but I understand!

Well kick the bus mechanic in the balls and tell him to hurry and fix it. I'm sure the bus was actually working, but was deemed to be "down". As Dlit said, I won't go into any further details either, but I'm pretty sure I know exactly what happened. Been there, done that.

I'm just wondering about one thing. If the suit is camoflauge, why is there a reflective stripe across your middle?

Bingo! I'm just wondering about one thing. If the suit is camoflauge, why is there a reflective stripe across your middle? Because we're in an exercise. Real world would be different. And the chem gear has been updated. It's called JLIST. Sooo much better than the old sh*t. You don't have to wear BDU's underneath (but the commander makes us here) and you don't get charcoal all over your uniform. Plus you can wash them.

Damn that **** sucks... but I'd have done the same thing... though honestly I don't mind the Chem gear up here... it's actually nice and keeps you warm... but yeah the JLIST kicks major ass over that the old ****... so how often you doing training... (PM me that info actually... no need to broadcast it) I wonder if it's as much as I've heard.
